How long does a building wrap last?
The lifespan of a building wrap depends on the material specified and the environmental conditions at the site. In general, outdoor-grade mesh and vinyl wraps are designed to last between one and three years without significant colour degradation. However we have known for our projects to last a lot longer than this and still look fantastic!
Do I need planning permission for a building wrap in the UK?
This depends on the location, building type, and duration of the installation. Many temporary building wraps fall within permitted development rights and do not require formal planning consent, but this is not universal, particularly for listed buildings, conservation areas, or wraps that include commercial advertising. Our team can discuss this further with you.
Can building wraps be printed with photographic or high-detail artwork?
Yes. Our printing technology produces photo-realistic results at large format with accurate colour reproduction. For heritage projects, we can photograph original building details, match colours and reproduce them at scale as we did at the London Coliseum. We accept industry-standard artwork files and our Studio team can advise on the optimal resolution and bleed for your specific installation.
