Building Wrap

Project Overview

When renovation and maintenance works began at Bicester Village, the challenge was clear: how do you maintain the premium aesthetic of one of the UK’s most recognisable luxury retail destinations while extensive scaffolding is in place?

The solution was a large-scale printed building wrap designed to conceal the temporary works, preserve the customer experience, and maintain the visual appeal of the site throughout the project.

445sqm Printed Scaffold Banner Installed as a Single Piece

To achieve maximum visual impact, the installation featured a huge 445sqm printed banner mesh manufactured as a single seamless piece.

Using one complete printed building wrap created a clean, uninterrupted finish across the structure and reduced visible joins, helping maintain the premium aesthetic associated with the Bicester Village brand.

Overnight building wrap installation

One of the biggest challenges of the project was completing all works within a live retail environment.

To avoid disruption to shoppers and on-site operations, the entire building wrap installation was carried out overnight. Careful coordination between the installation team, client, and main contractor ensured the project was delivered safely, efficiently, and within tight time constraints.

Installation Timeline
  • 3 nights to install the support frame
  • 1 night to install the full printed building wrap

The overnight schedule required detailed planning and a streamlined installation process to ensure everything was completed on time.

seamless luxury finish

The finished building wrap successfully transformed a large construction area into a visually striking feature that complemented the luxury retail environment.

By concealing the scaffolding behind a seamless printed façade, Bicester Village was able to continue delivering a high-end visitor experience throughout the refurbishment works.

Large-format building wraps are increasingly popular for retail, commercial, and construction projects because they:

  • Conceal scaffolding and temporary works
  • Maintain brand image during refurbishment
  • Improve customer experience
  • Create visually impactful large-format graphics
  • Reduce the visual impact of construction sites
  • Offer fast and efficient installation solutions
