Michael Green reflects on 2024

This blog takes a moment to reflect on successes, celebrate the milestones we’ve reached and offer a glimpse into the exciting opportunities that lie ahead for Moss as we continue to innovate in 2025.

“As a busy 2024 draws to a close and exciting plans for 2025 begin to take shape, it’s easy to overlook the pride we feel in being part of such an inspiring global team at Moss. Running a vibrant and diverse business while delivering results takes focus, yet it’s important to take a moment to reflect on the extraordinary achievements we have produced as a team.

Pride in Our Achievements

2024 saw Moss win and complete a series of high-profile projects across the UK and beyond. These included collaborations with global brands like McDonald’s and Google to leading locations and venues such as Blenheim Palace and Tobacco Dock.

Our commitment to excellence has earned us industry recognition. We’ve won awards across our business from the Museum & Galleries sector, to Live Events & Exhibitions, this is both rewarding for our team and a testament to our determination to delivering exceptional customer service. These achievements reflect two key strengths. Firstly, clients value working with a business that offers a complete service, from consultation and design, to in-house production and installation, we provide a seamless, reliable experience.

Secondly, we believe the pride that each member of our team brings to their work is evident in each project. Every design, production, and installation is approached with care and dedication – and we are incredibly proud of their daily commitment to quality and service.

Pride in Our Growth

Our rebranding earlier this year as part of the Moss Group has been a major success and we have achieved sustainable, profitable growth of over 10 percent. The process of integrating businesses is never easy, especially across different cultures. Yet, we’ve embraced this challenge and learned a lot along the way, and with the many opportunities still to explore, the future looks bright.

Pride in Our Sustainability Journey

Sustainability remains at the heart of our continuous improvement initiative as we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint by 50 percent by 2030. This includes using more environmentally friendly materials, adopting greener production methods, and improving recycling streams – all of which have been part of our work this year. From the launch of SustainaTex Ocean and our rental banners scheme to the latest in energy-saving machines and our zero waste to landfill approach, we are making a difference. In addition, our partnerships with industry bodies, such as ESSA and isla, are continuing to help us foster and promote best practices within our sector.

Pride in Our People

We’ve worked hard to align our operations with our vision and values, and supporting our team in delivering daily excellence is fundamental to Moss.

Our Early Careers Ambassador programme has strengthened our Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) initiatives. Working with local charity Inspire2Ignite and apprentice provider Learn2Print, we have brought over six trainees and apprentices into our workforce, with more to join in 2025.

This collaboration benefits both Moss and our local community. It has even been recognised by Ian Sollom, our local MP, who praised our commitment to local talent and sustainability during his visit to our Open Day with other guests earlier this year.

Pride in our Future Plans and Investment

2024 has been a year of significant growth for Moss in the UK as well as globally; having increased the range of services we can offer to our clients. Investment in the latest equipment ensures we continue to meet growing demand for our end-to-end services. Our new Durst P5 500, which we added in June, has increased our print speeds on super wide materials by up to 50 percent and expanded our ability to deliver compelling experiences for our brand customers.

For 2025, we will continue to enhance and extend our abilities to deliver a fully ‘one stop shop’ experience, supported by the wider Moss Group. Our capabilities and geographical reach will grow for clients both in the UK and beyond – and our focus on in-house fabrication will deliver exactly what our clients are increasingly seeking.

As we prepare for what promises to be an exciting and successful year, we want to thank our clients, suppliers, partners and our incredible team. Your support, dedication, and vision make everything possible. We wish you a safe, happy and prosperous New Year.”
