Overview

During the construction period of Almacantar’s huge Marble Arch development, there was a need to cover the site welfare cabins on a gantry, over the pavement of Edgeware Road. The client wanted these cabins covered as they would be in a very prominent part of London for a long period.

MacroArt designed a protruding banner frame that fixed to the perimeter of the cabins. This was installed by our team over the course of five nights using a combination of cherry pickers and abseil.

Once the frame was installed, the 600 metre square printed mesh banner was winched into place to cover the cabins.

We have used MacroArt for years at Almacantar, and always feel as though they are as serious about our projects as we are. No request is ever too big or too small and they've pulled out all the stops to help us achieve results on numerous occasions. The team is a pleasure to work with and also have an incredible skillset which is a rare combination and of very high value.

Throughout the life of the project, the huge banner was swapped for a new design in just one night, refreshing the look of the site.
