At Moss UK, we believe creating opportunity starts within the communities around us. That’s why we’re proud to continue our partnership with Inspire 2 Ignite, renewing our commitment for another three years to support young people through mentorship, skills development, and pathways into employment.
This long-term partnership is about far more than access. It’s about creating lasting opportunities, building confidence, and helping young people move from potential into progression.
From Exposure to Opportunity
Through Industry Open Days, young people were given the opportunity to experience a ‘Moss’ working environment, often for the first time. These experiences helped build confidence, broaden career awareness, and make working life feel more accessible. But one thing became clear early on: access alone isn’t enough. Real impact comes from what happens next.
That insight has shaped the evolution of this partnership, from one-off engagement into a more structured pathway connecting early exposure directly to meaningful opportunities.
Focusing on Potential for Young People
This approach allows us to look beyond traditional CV-based hiring and focus more on attitude, mindset, and progression. Through this partnership, we’re able to:

We’ve seen individuals progress from initial engagement into roles aligned with their career goals within a short space of time, a reflection of what’s possible when the right structure and support are in place.

One recent example of this includes a recent marketing intern who connected with Moss through Inspire 2 Ignite. After developing key skills through training and attending an Industry Open Day, they demonstrated clear interest, curiosity, and initiative, particularly in Marketing, which has led to an internship opportunity within the team.
There are many examples of this within the business and while every journey is different, stories like this reinforce a consistent theme. When preparation meets opportunity, progression becomes possible.
