As one of River Island’s preferred suppliers, we were delighted when we were approached by them to help one of their charity partners, Newlife the Charity for Disabled Children, develop and open a high street charity shop with a difference in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

Collaborating with the creative team at River Island, we provided print and installation services for the new store including, window displays, store signage and column graphics to ensure the new outlet’s vibrant pink and blue branding made a real high street impact.

Newlife is a national charity, supporting disabled children and their families across the UK. The new High Wycombe store is its tenth and, at 15,000 square feet, is their largest store!

Our Commercial Director, Scott King was delighted to be able to support Newlife in the preparation of their new store; “It was rewarding to be able to use so many facets of our retail display experience, perfected during our partnership with River Island, in delivering this great result for Newlife.”

Unlike traditional charity clothing shops, Newlife does not rely on public stock donations. Instead, it gives customers the chance to buy brand new surplus of women’s, men’s and children’s stock, acquired from a host of leading retailers at greatly reduced prices.

Working with River Island’s design team and Andrew Murphy-Hayes, Newlife Head of Retail Stores, we undertook all the site-survey, pre-production, print and installation duties for the new store, making sure the graphics were impactful and highly durable, to ensure a long-term solution was achieved.

Andrew commented; “We are grateful to River Island and MacroArt for the help they have provided in delivering such a high quality and long-lasting result for our new store. It means Newlife can continue to provide even more disabled and terminally ill children and their families with the vital equipment and support they desperately need.”

The store opened on the 28th July, head on down to grab a bargain!
