Opening New Doors at Moss UK

In our latest blog, Business Development Executive, Louis Brookes, shares the story behind Moss’s newest contest campaign, a creative initiative designed to start a ‘winning’ conversation and introduce people to the breadth of what we do. From bold branding to behind-the-scenes tours, it’s a fresh way to connect with new clients and showcase the value Moss can bring to any project.

“When I joined Moss, I was excited to be part of a team that’s known for delivering bold, creative branding and large format printing work across a huge range of industries. From retail campaigns and exhibitions to live events and one-off installations, Moss is involved in projects all over the UK and beyond, many of which you’ve probably walked past without realising.

Starting A ‘Winning’ Conversation

As a Business Development Executive, my role is all about starting conversations. That might be with someone who’s looking to bring a campaign to life, someone struggling to find a large format printing supplier who can turn things around fast, or someone who’s simply curious about what we do. Every conversation’s different and that’s what keeps it interesting.

When I first started, I knew I was stepping into a business with a reputation for doing things differently but what I didn’t expect was to be helping launch a brand-new contest campaign within my first few months.

It’s something we’ve never done before, and for me, it’s a great way to start conversations. A lot of people don’t know what Moss can offer, or they assume we only work on specific large format printing or graphics projects. And while we do love those, what’s really struck me since joining is how diverse our work is and how open we are to helping clients’ branding and signage of all types, designs and sizes.

Talking Competition

That’s the spirit behind the campaign. We’re inviting people to book a quick call with me. Nothing heavy, just a chat about their plans, upcoming projects, ideas or challenges. And every conversation that gets booked in will be entered into a prize draw. Prizes include Spurs tickets (made even better by their recent Europa League win), a Harrods hamper and a full behind-the-scenes tour of our site in St. Neots. It’s a chance to see the machinery in action, meet the team, and get a better idea of how we work, from large format printing to sewing and finishing.

We’ll be taking people through every step of the process, showing how our large format printing setup works, how our team bring ideas to life and how, as place makers, we make even the most complex display projects possible.

What I’m hoping is that it gives people a reason to reach out. You don’t have to be working on a big project, and you don’t need to have a fully formed brief. This is about opening the door – and if all it leads to is a better understanding of what we can do, then that’s a win in my book.

That said, if any of my favourite brands happen to enter, I won’t complain. We do a lot of work in retail and fashion already, and I’d love to grow that side even more. Large format printing in fashion retail is a space with so much creative potential, and I’m always up for talking ideas – big or small.

Let’s Talk Ideas

It’s not just the high-street names. I’m equally keen to speak to people doing something different – whether it’s temporary pop-ups, events, window displays or interior transformations. If it involves large format printing, we’ve probably done it – and if we haven’t, we’re up for the challenge.

So, if you’re curious about Moss, or just fancy a chat, book a time. I’ll do the talking – and you might even win a prize.

Visit my booking page to schedule in a call with me and enter the competition!”
